Jim Turner, CEO
Jim Turner is the founder and CEO of Hilltop Consultants. Prior to founding Hilltop Consultants in 2003 and before working with Sage Solutions Group, Jim served in consulting roles for the U.S. Patent Office and the U.S. Senate. Jim got his start in IT with technical positions with IBM, Madison Square Garden, and Six Flags. Jim possesses a deep range of experience in various industries, providing technical and management consultative support for such organizations as law firms, lobbying firms, trade associations, and small- and medium-sized businesses.
A popular speaker, Jim often educates businesses on cloud storage, backup and disaster recovery, and business continuity. He also serves on the advisory boards of multiple cloud service providers. Jim is active in local the community and also volunteers his time and service to homeowners associations and other organizations, also receiving the Montgomery County Civic Federation’s Community Hero Award in 2015.
Doug Furst, COO
Douglas Furst serves as Hilltop Consultants’ Chief Operating Officer, overseeing all aspects of the company's operations. Doug joined Hilltop in 2015 and has 27 years' of experience in the Managed IT Services sector. Prior to Hilltop Consultants, Doug was employed at All Covered, where he helped to triple the size of the company by improving operations and building systems to support the growth. Prior to that Doug held similar roles at Eze Castle and a number of other MSPs in DC and Boston. Doug holds a BA from Allegheny College and an MBA from Babson College.
David Boughter, Chief Sales Officer
David Boughter serves as Chief Sales Officer. David brings more than 32 years of experience working with clients in legal services, accounting, insurance, and hospitality. His areas of specialty include business development, sales and sales team process, client relations and account management, business partner relations, managed IT services, cloud systems and cloud consulting, hosted voice networks, systems integration and end-user computing environments. David studied Computer Electronics Technology at The Lincoln Technical Institute and attended The Pennsylvania State University.
Paul Recksiek, Chief Technology Officer
Paul Recksiek serves as Chief Technology Officer for Hilltop Consultants, overseeing its technical service teams. Paul, who has more than 15 years’ experience working with Managed Service Providers (MSPs), joined Hilltop in 2005. He takes pride in ensuring Hilltop delivers best-in- class performance from both a technical and service perspective. When not managing service delivery, Paul performs network security assessments, software demonstrations, and trainings for a wide variety of clients. A native New Yorker, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Wake Forest University.
Daniel Clarke, Vice President
Dan Clarke serves as Hilltop's Vice President, overseeing Brand Strategy, Enterprise and Web Services — with over 20 years’ of experience in brand strategy, marketing, web, and technology consulting. Prior to joining Hilltop, Dan has built and spearheaded the marketing divisions of corporations that include a national Managed IT Services Provider and international civil rights law firm.
Alongside his role in overseeing all aspects of the company's brand and enterprise consulting divisions, Dan also uses his depth of experience, creativity and ‘out-of-the-box’ thinking as a Virtual CIO (vCIO), web developer and digital strategist. His team's relentless energy, tenacity and service delivery helps to provide Hilltop's clients with powerful insights, platforms and solutions that can help take their businesses to the next level and beyond.
Stacy Fischbach, VP of Customer Relations
Stacy Fischbach has almost thirty-years of professional experience in management, account management, sales and marketing and IT. She has a track record of proven success in every position she has held.
Prior to joining Hilltop, Stacy was a Managing Director with Keno Kozie Associates (K2), which provides information technology design, service and support to law firms. At Keno, Stacy managed $5 million in managed IT services client accounts. Quarter after quarter, Stacy was K2’s overall top business development performer. She launched and managed K2’s Washington, DC office growing it from a cold start to $7 million in total annual revenue and a staff of over fifteen fulltime employees. In addition to running the DC office, Stacy headed up business development, project management and client relations.
Sal Agha, Director of Client Services
Sal Agha serves as Director of Client Services, providing technical and project management leadership through application of his extensive client relations experience. With 18 years of experience in the IT industry, Sal has significant expertise and experience with an array of technologies and methodologies, including designing network/server infrastructure, migrations, maintenance, disaster recovery planning, and project delivery and execution. He has worked with hundreds of businesses to create greater efficiency, reduced downtime, and lower operating costs.
Prior to joining Hilltop in 2004, Sal owned a computer and technology support business that was acquired by Hilltop. Sal holds Masters’ degrees in Information Management and Project Management as well as a Bachelor’s of Computer Science from Strayer University. He also holds a number of industry certifications from Cisco (CCNA), Microsoft (MCP, MCP+, MCSE), and Comptia (A+).
Ernesto Negron, Director of Security
Ernesto Negron serves as a Director of Security, with more than 27 years’ experience working closely with clients in the legal services, banking, trading, manufacturing, hospitality and retail sectors. His fields of focus include systems security, system infrastructure design, integration, document management and time and billing. He is a graduate from Queens College with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
Ernesto is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and is certified in CompTia Network+ and Security+.
Eric Jordan, Director of Technology
Eric Jordan serves as Director of Technology, and brings more than 29 years’ experience catering to Fortune 500 clients in the manufacturing, banking, trading, legal services, communications and transportation industries. Eric’s primary areas of focus are systems integration, cloud systems and cloud migrations, systems infrastructure design, performance modeling, security, document management, relational databases, simulation, tuning, and optimization. He attended the Georgia Institute of Technology and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Georgia State University.
Eric is certified in CompTia Network+ and Security+.
Daniel Williams, Director of Network Administration
Daniel J. Williams serves as Director of Network Administration, with over 15 years of technical experience supporting the legal industry. Prior to joining Hilltop, Daniel was the Director of IT support for a boutique law firm that represented more than half of the Fortune 100 companies. He also has held different positions during these this tenure including, litigation support and IT help desk supervisor. He has experience in many different legal applications, video conferencing equipment, Microsoft applications and document management systems.
Daniel currently holds many Microsoft certifications and also is a certified virtualized data expert. In his role as Director of Administration, Daniel's diligence and expertise is focused on ensuring that your network environment is healthy and your employees can work productively and efficiently.
Cindy Couchman, Director of Operations
Cindy Couchman serves as Director of Operations for Hilltop Consultants, overseeing the HR, Finance, and Office Services teams. Cindy has spent more than 25 years in the DC tech start-up arena helping companies manage the operations side of funding, growth, and expansion. She was Director of Internal Operations for LivingSocial through its explosive growth period. Prior to that, she was Director of HR for Revolution Health, and held various other operational roles at a number of area start-ups. Cindy is a native to the DC area, earned a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from Cornell University.
