While many IT departments and support companies are just starting to realize that the end of support date for Windows XP is just around the corner, Hilltop is getting ready for the end of support for Windows 2003 Server. Microsoft will end extended support for Windows 2003 Server on July 14, 2015.
This is important for many of our clients. Many software vendors have already started announcing the discontinuation of support for Windows 2003.
Replacing your servers is somewhat more complicated than replacing Windows XP computers.
Hilltop recommends that firm start planning and budgeting their upgrade to Windows 2012 server before the end of 2013. This will allow firms to find out about the compatibility of all of the software running on their servers.
