Hilltop Service Update (November 2013)

Hello,

I wanted to share the exciting news on some upcoming changes to improve service delivery and helpdesk support. These changes are a result of our substantial growth this year.

  • New Hilltop Office

    Construction is currently underway on the new Hilltop Consultants, Inc. office. The new office is located at 4201 Connecticut Ave NW, conveniently located next to the Van Ness Metro station.

    The new office is 3,500 square feet, features a modern Network Operations Center (NOC), dedicated 24/7 Helpdesk area, and room for growth. Hilltop will relocate all staff from our DC and Bethesda office to the new location by December 2013. Staff from the Manassas office will be relocated by March, 2014. Having all of our technical talent located in the same office will allow us grow as a team and respond to your technical issues even faster.

  • Upgraded Phone System and Support

    Effective January 2014, you will notice a more efficient process when calling in for service. The upgraded phone system will allow you to connect to a DC based technician directly or a live operator 24x7. This new system will make submitting a service ticket fast and easy.

  • Dedicated Helpdesk Teams

    Effective January 2014, your office will be assigned a dedicated DC based Helpdesk Team. The new Helpdesk Teams will provide both remote and onsite support for your office. More importantly, the team will be accessible 24x7 to service all of your needs. This change in our 24x7 Helpdesk will allow our consultants and technicians to focus on a specific set of clients. This means that you will not have to worry about talking to a technician that does not know your network. By focusing our consultants and technicians on fewer clients, they will be better able to focus on the needs of your business.

We are very excited about these changes and hope you are too! We expect that you will see a noticeable improvement in service delivery and Helpdesk support. These upgrades are designed to improve your experience in working with Hilltop Consultants. Our goal is to be the most responsive provider of managed IT services in the DMV.

I will follow up with this blog entry by the end of November with a status update and pictures of the new office. I will also include updated instructions for requesting technical support from the 24x7 Helpdesk.
