The Problem

Most nationwide computer stores will not repair laptop power jacks. These stores, as well as the manufacturer, will usually tell you that the motherboard needs to be replaced.

While in some rare circumstances this may be true, usually the jack can be replaced at a much lower cost. The typical bill for replacing a motherboard ranges from $350-900. We'll replace laptop power jacks for $99 plus parts.
