Recognized as 2021 Legal Technology Trailblazer by The National Law Journal

February 19, 2021

FMS has been recognized as the Legal Technology Trailblazer by The National Law Journal 2021, recognizing companies that are truly agents of change and using innovation to help ease the daily tasks taken on by law firms and legal departments.

The profile highlights Frontline Managed Services’ constant forward-looking philosophy and investment to stay out in front of innovation and provide value to our clients in the legal industry. This includes expansion to more than 600 employees across three continents, the October 2020 acquisition of Hilltop Consultants and the ongoing improvement and addition of services – such as a fairly recent eBilling solution that is already processing nearly $1 billion in bills for clients.

Legal Technology Turnkey Solution

Frontline Managed Services enables law firms to use state-of-the-art technology tools without the need to make capital expenditure investments. “Frontline Managed Services is a turnkey solution that offers technology that clients can use instead of investing in it themselves,” CEO Seelin Naidoo told The National Law Journal. “We maintain and support it, and that puts the burden on us.” He added that he anticipates a continuing move to virtual delivery models, and discussed plans for Frontline to continue developing “office-in-a-box” solutions, including conflict checks, client intake, contract management, billing collections, and general ledger services. “We are building out functional solutions based on what the market needs,” he said.

One area Frontline was out front on what clients needed includes the rush to remote work in 2020. “We were ahead of the curve in supporting clients virtually, which has grown throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. And it will continue to grow afterward,” Naidoo said.
